liberals vs conservatives

i didnt mention NDP, block quebois or that green party because they are honestly a joke and shouldnt even bother cuz they are definately going to lose.

i strongly think that the liberals will take it (although i wish they wouldnt).

there is no longer any confidence in the liberal gov't but the problem is that people are too scared for change so everyone is going to vote liberal again

discuss

and btw, GO CONSERVATIVES!!!!

Hmm I wouldn't dimiss the NDP or the Bloc at all. I mean with the current party leaders we have up at the federal level, it will most likely be a minority for either the Liberals or the Conservatives. That means that either NDP or Bloc need to be appeased to either keep the government in power or to topple it once again.

The Bloc will probably sweep Quebec you can't discount them... The NDP will continue the strong hold they have in union rich ridings and I think the green party will surprise a few people and get at least one seat.

Wow, the liberals are corrupt! Big deal. You think Jack Layton is a clean cut guy!#??

get over it.

Liberals Majority. Thats my prediction. No other party is realistic enough to be running the country.

Actually sit down and watch speeches from all party leaders and make you own decisions. It's easy to listen to what the news or papers tell you.

Robb: name three things wrong with the liberals without mentioning anything related to corruption.

between NDP and conservatives, i feel the consarvatives r better only because they will make a bigger impact, NDP seem to not even know what they are doing.

Ah, I missed our debates from last year, most intelligent!!!

Good post

I'm still Conservative

If we can keep this clean and full of debate issues, not idle garbage that usually happens, I'll keep this open. (Directed at everyone, not you ROBB)

For one thing, Ontario (the largest populated province) has the highest % drop out rate in Canada ! why ? cuz the schools suck ? why ? cuz the gov't doesnt invest in the schools ? why ? cuz the Libs dont give a rats *** ! why ? cuz they spend our money on themselves to win power !

Every party has stuff that you agree with and disagree with.
But I wont vote for proven corrupt gov't ! Thats the main sticking point ! The country needs a fresh face governing. I like the NDP cuz they have a few things in common with the Libs .

that's funny you talk about schools and liberals in ontario. need i remind you that the conservatives were the ones in power in ontario and the conservatives cut back all the funding for schools and the conservatives left the provincial books unbalanced to the tunes of approx 5 billion (or something like that)

education is a provincial issue. so is health care.

ahhh, the first statement in this thread actually has some relavence. No matter what you say, nobody can deny the fact that economically the liberals are doing exceptional, our economy is doing better than a lot of countries, its a fact and can't be dismissed.

Having said that, I don't like a lot of thing about the liberal party's corruption (even if the end result was good, do the ends justify the means?), I don't like thier bull**** childcare program I would rather see more money in my pocket than less taxes, and I don't think its a good idea for a government to be in power for too long it just leads to poor spending and corruption.

The Bloc is a major consideration for Quebec seeing as the Liberals have lost a lot of support there and there is nobody else....

however, in the end I think we'll see another minority government that will get nothing significant done, and just be waste of time and money...
