I just hang up the phone.

My cousin bought that "TELE ZAPPER" thingy.......works like a charm.

He hasn't had a call from a tellemarketer in months.

Or you can just tell them you can't read......:insert excuse: ie....blind, bumb......illeterate......or a combo of one one of those. Make sure you have a lisp when you speak. LOL

Telezapper will not work against some telemarketing companies, when I was working I had a sheet, and they say DIAL.

lol, some of your stories are crazy. Usually when they call I just tell them that they have the wrong number but once I told that that the person they were looking for was dead (even though it was me).

MBNA is notorious for making telemarketing calls trying to sell you insurance on your credit cards and stuff. I get a phone call from them every so often... fortunately, they've diminished ever since the time they called me and after I figured out that it was MBNA, I proceeded to answer everything with the answer "no". It was weird, it was like:
MBNA: "How are you today?"
Me: "No"
MBNA: "Would you be interested blah blah blah?"
Me: "No"
MBNA: "Why not? It would be good in the case of emergencies..."
Me: "No"
lol
