long lasting

how long do reagular civics last milage wise say from 1993-96 like driven somewhat hard not really for school use only??

Depends on how it has been maintained. My 94 is at 224XXX.

my old car had 330 000 kms of total abuse from 180 000 up... it did eventually have issues but was expected given the abuse lol... driven normally they would go forever with proper maintenance

ya well my currect 93 Si has 376 000... sure it has a new larger motor but still!

my old 92 civic had 422000 km on it it was sweet

it all depends on how well u maintain the car.

my uncle has an early 80s civic hatch with just over 500 000 on it..... he's a mechanic at lakeshore honda so he knows how to maintain it and keep it going.

I'm closing in on 300,000 now.... so long as you maintain the body and replace parts that break the car will last an extremely long time

96 w/t just under 180,000 still 100%
just maintain it like said above and the body and ur honda should last you a lifetime, regular tuneups, rustproofs, 3-5k oil changes, and so on -it being properly maintained will last

also i herd that upgrades like turbos ect can effect how long the car last's true ??

^^, of course your car is not going to last as long, because come on now, you have turbo, your going to use it!!

yeah my 1st ef has 275,000km on it
my 2nd ef had 314,000km
my 3rd ef had 388,000km
my 4th ef had 175,000km

thy funny thing is that the one with the lowest km`s ran and drove the worst bought it off a older lady and i dont think the car had ever had an oil change but all the others ran like champs but i swaped the motors
