Lost My JOB!!!
I have great news, today at the end of my shift we had a meeting in which I was informed that I would be getting layed off on July 5th. Sounds bad right? Wrong! July 3rd I get my vacation pay, $2000, July 10th I get pay plus 5 weeks pay $3456, then two weeks after that, I'll get $433 a week for 9months!!! AND ITS SUMMER!!! Even after all this, I was the only one smiling from ear to ear like a fool leaving that meeting???

Layofs sigify that the company is trying to resturcture to some extent, and in most cases provides an investment opportunity!

the company is called Hendrickson Spring, deffinetly do not want to invest, I made transport truck suspension, but there loosing big time to companys in cheaper countries, there laying off 75 people, and I'm 40th from the bottom, so I'm gone! I hated that place anyways

I don't think its publicly listed, TSX and TSX Venture have no record of it.

And I can't find any documents on SEDAR either.

Not necessarily, sir.

Some companies offer payment packages to their employees.

I know the Layoff Package, but that doesn't necessary mean you can chill and relax for 6 months.
