I agree. But you have to give him credit to the great imagination...

it was a decent flick...people didnt like it cuz they thought it was gonna be a horror movie which it wasnt...I enjoyed it, but then again I like cinematic genius unlike most people

i loved it, i love all his movies, but then again like cynical said i didn't walk into it thinking i was gonna see a scary movie, i walked in thinking i was gonna see a really good movie with some twists and turn in the plot...and i did, so i was happy

and all this was discussed before when the movie first came out in theatres

well wut else would the expect? all the previews showed only the "scary" parts, and the media hyped it up to be a horror film. so that build up only let ppl down.

Yes it definately was built up as a"scary movie". For someone to say they went into it not thinking it would be that type of movie is either all BS or was informed before hand.

I went in thinking it would be a horror type movie but I was not dissapointed when it wasn't. I remember there being a hole in the story around the end but I still liked the movie. It was different...but ya, I think people wanted to see monsters eating people or something. It was a innovative story and nicely presented.

i didnt expect a horror flick, i had a notion that it was a thriller at most, based on the promo...
nonetheless, i watched it WITHOUT expectation and not buying into any hype...fine it didnt blow, but it was a waste of time.
im also a fan of film, and the village was far from cinematic genius
