I google it and a lot of people are converting them to led, why is it not whort it ? do you think the stock bulb is better than led.

LED has very focused light, and it is not as bright as a regular incandescent bulb.

I have a small LED flashlight with 6 LEDs in it, and it is more acceptable, but still not as bright as a conventional flashlight. A single LED conversion would be pointless IMO, only to save battery life, but your sacrafising Light Output

get one of those million candle power flashlihts that last like 15minutes cause the damn lihgt is so powerful that the battery doesn't last long... lol.... most worthless thing i've ever bought..

good thing i found out how fast that thing dyes at home and not while im camping and decide to go take a walk in order to take a ****... would suck watching the flashlight dying as im taking a ****.... OH **** HOW AM I GONNA FIND MY WAY BACK... lol

You are probably better off just buying and LED light. But if you satill wanna do that, then look at an electronic store. Steel City Surplus in Hammertown prolly has them. You will need a resistor for each LED used.

talk to S@turn, he was selling LED flashlights with 12 LED's in them. its incredible. i always have it in my jacket where ever i go because it's so small and the light output is amazing i think. it takes 3 AAA but lasts a long time.
