some funny news. My friends brother and his buddys went to buffalo a couple weeks ago and since the brown boys were too cheap to pay for 1 single thing on duty they decided to wear everything they bought. That included winter sweaters and jackets in the summer heat. Needless to say they were stuck at the border for a couple hours and are banned from entering the united states for 365 days.

uh huh

anyways, i went to the galleria a few weeks ago and left empty handed. sherway gardens is better then that mall. The outlets were decent though. Bought a few pairs of jeans for $30 (that retail over $100 here).

lmao

I had a friend do this and they put his name on a list (dont know the name) and now when ever he tries to cross the border they search for hours..but he is still allowed to enter.

lol but trying it wearing sweaters in the summer and jackets is dumb hahah how could you not get caught..

I have friends from Niagara that do this all the time but they wear underarmor or tshirts or thin sweaters.. and do it with shoes all the time and always get away with it. Sometimes questioned but not ever gotten in any trouble for it. But they can do this all the time because they are in the falls so it is not a problem to keep returning

a smart way of avoiding taxes is just shipping it to your house

or having a good excuse

I.E. went to lunch at Gagsters

every border officer knows that place and as long as you have left overs on your lap they let you through instantly.

I always say I dropped my mom/dad/friend/neighbour/etc. at the airport.

Easy as pie.

And yes, I wore 5-6 t-shirts and a sweater on my way back.

You are allowed $100 each worth of stuff. Needless to say, mine was $250 or something, so I wore $150 worth of stuff.

No questions asked.

true...

although some things you can get cheaper, because the price here hasn't been adjusted for the exchange rate (new Cars are a good example), but ya most things its probably not worth the trouble...

idk I was thinking more of the exclusive lines i.e. bean dip, artful dodger, and etc. Everyone in toronto seems to rarely carry any of this stuff and if they do its in a size xxxxxxxxl.
