i'll post up what me and you were talking about....
basically i think that they're all still in the matrix plugged in, even if they're in 'zion' it's just another reality.... something the architect said made me think of that.... now I totally forget what it was exactly.... and also how could Smith copy himself into another human being and still have power over the body if the human (Bane i think was his name) was unplugged?

AHHH!!!!!!!
remember that the last part of the trilogy takes place in ZION entirely(aside a few Matrix scenes, very few, I've read). I mean, how is NEO gonna save the humans without his SUPERMAN skills(beef #1).
What I don't understand is why the architect could not design the matrix to trick him into choosing the door he KNEW he would always go for, and make that the one that would give the architect the power to rewrite the matrix without NEO's influence.
(beef #2.....I confuse) "shut your hole **** chung!".....
my biggest beef is the shitty CG scene in the courtyard with the muliplying Agent Smith's. That was SOOOOO poorly edited and executed. Has anyone seen Flight of the Osiris? That had more fluid and lifelike pixels than that scene.
I think the link with Bane being unplugged with Agent's influence and NEO bringing his power back to the real world are tied together. Consequently, it's interesting how you(Silver SIG) predict the real world to be another matrix. Thing is, the matrix has no control over NEO, and he can see the code. So......

SilverSiG, thats what my buddy was saying. I was too sleepy to catch onto anything, but my buddy was saying its like a matrix within a matrix. That maybe there is no TRUE reality...that EVERYTHING is fabricated...????

in response to beef 1 - think about the EM pulse, i'm with PolskiSi's buddy on this, a matrix within a matrix.... or even the same matrix one we haven't seen yet.... think about it.... and within the program they're made to think that they've been freed while really they're just moving into a different 'operating system' if you will.... that is how neo came up with that EM pulse cuz he's still plugged in....
beef 2 - he doesn't know what neo is going to do but the choice has already been made.... the first 5 times he may have gone to the other door, the architect doesn't know what neo is going to do..... the whole point of neo having an influence in recreating the matrix is to keep refining it because neo has been in the matrix and he knows what's wrong etc etc...
beef #3 - ya that scene was ****, you could see it was a fake neo, the fingers didn't even grasp the stick properly.... for all the time and money the spent they could have done a better job for sure, esp after all the raving they did about that scene, the agents don't look that bad but neo looks really really fake.... same with when he's flying around by himself, it looks like a different person.... totally CG

But then again, instead or presuming everything, I won't think about it too much until I see the last part.
When I look at all the comics and anime and theories behind the matrix, the separation between the real world and the matrix is evidently shown too many times.....I guess I can't accept the fact that the wachowski's would use this one technique(everyone never unplugged from the matrix to begin with)to explain everything that has happened so far. But your reasoning is the only one I've got so....

I read a partial script I found somewhere on the net almost 6 months back and they did refer to neo still being jacked in and all this in reloaded was just a trainging program.... and when he jacks out the original crew was still there tank, dozer and the rest of the crew never died... dunno how true this script was though.... I'll see if I can still find the site... it's probably shut down by now....

basically they were smart at leaving it where it was gatherer....you wanting to know how the frick Neo did the EM pulse in the real world is exactly what they want you to do. This way you will go and watch the next one to find out The theory that they are still plugged into the matrix within a matrix is a good one...I could add to that by saying at the end neo says "I feel different" which could possibly mean he has altered his own program code to be inherently different than the rest of the code - hacking himself and the system Guess we'll have to wait till November won't we?!

I had a thought regarding the EM pulse.
Try to think of it this way. The matrix is just a world with rules. The real world would be somewhere without any rules, where everyone is free. Whose to say the rules the matrix had were the same "rules" that were set in "reality"? What if it were possible to emitt an EM pulse? Just think about the "what if"....
What I'm thinking isn't the easiest theory to put on paper. But I'm only 50% reliant on it.
Does anyone know what I mean?
I can also agree with the "matrix inside a matrix" idea. What if that was the architect's sure way to patch up the mistakes of the previous matrix. Have them believe they're out, and kill them when they're inside. They'll think there out and not use any "special powers".
Yes, NEO can read the matrix code, but what if he couldn't read this? (regarding the matrix in a matrix idea) Remember the scene when NEO opened one of the doors and he ended up 500 miles away? How come he didn't know where he was after opening the door, if he can read the code, right?

Well i think its clear that the matrix is alot more complicated than what what was once thought.
When he was in the hall way with back doors, it was exposing a part of the program that was never seen before. Neo's Powers are functional.
There is an ongoing reference to the question "Why something exist" and it is answered by "why is not important, it is what it is"
What is happening to Neo when he goes into a coma?
Is he actually unplugged then?
this movie just opened up a huge can of worms.

a really huge can of worms ... the coma I think could be due to extent of effort used to make the EM pulse...
the other thing I never considered was Neo and the rest of them have mechanical implants in them from the time they were hooked into the power gird... maybe he just realized that since those implants were used to suck electrical power from them he could in fact generate a charge and create an EM pulse in the real world .... although that wouldn't explain the 5 other times "the one" entered the architects room and rebooted the matrix by also releasing humans from the power grid to the world of Zion as well....
the brain is thinking about this but it just will not be answered till november which sucks I have to see it again to see if I missed something....
