i stayed at riu cancun as well.

don't go shopping in th emall close by... go to walmart for all your needs..

make sure you go scuba diving...

went there last year for my cousin's wedding in may. it was beautiful. i went snorkeling and it was sooo much fun! ya, the tours are cool...went zip lining and swam in freshwater in a cave and climbed a pyramid. also went to playa del carmen for some shopping. the food at the resort wasnt the greatest, but at least it didn't make me sick. i cant remember which resort it was...if i see the name, i'll remember...it was a 4.5 star resort...the last one on the line...like over an hr south (i think south) of cancun.
