you know a lot of succesfull pot heads outside the music industry who are at least in their late twenties?

mental or physical does not matter. addiction is still addiction.

and i would rather work for the devil. He has a proven track record of profitable return. The other option might kill you or demand you kill your children. If he doesn't, he claim your suffering is good for you. No need for that garbage.

Yeah I know a lot of guys who have their own companies/businesses that are still in their twenties, early or late. They may not have the income a lawyer has but I'm not sure how much they pull in, so I can't really say.

I do agree that the majority of pot heads usually have an 'artistic' type lifestyle or thought and that may be part of the effects from the drug, being creative and inspired by different things or whatever. But I don't think all pot heads are limited to just artistic type jobs. Pot heads are everywhere; doctors, dentist, mechanics and I'm sure even some lawyers smoke. I don't think it's really that limited.

Mental and physical are still two different types of addiction.
Physical being that you have no or very little control over the addiction. Mental being that you still have the choice. If your simple minded and easily controlled, then mental or physical addiction can control your life but if you have a good sense of control and will power you can break free from both.
How did you quit smoking cigarettes and coffee? their both addictive.

I don't agree. Pot heads after a couple of years.. the ones i have known at least.. have all turned to mush. I know longer really associate with a few of them. one guy was at a half o a week to himself. social smoking was a bonus. haha

sure you can have psychological addiciton, and chemical addiction.. but addiction is addiction none the less. Both of them can be stopped. It's just not easy.

Well the few pot heads that you personaly know don't represent the majority of all of the pot heads in the world but that was just your observation based on the people that you know.
Maybe they just get really good bud.

Agreed but what I was saying was psychological addiction is a lot easier then a chemical addiction to quite, as long as your not weak minded and easy influenced.

I know more than a few.

I've also worked in large companies.... the pot heads seem to be all the plant workers.. while the execs and higher ups are more into alcohol.

i don't mean recreational use.. that's casual i guess... i'm refering to every day users.

I guess both of our experiences have been different.

Good debate nonetheless

I work in a hospital and I see all the losers that are "so sick", but they still need to go out for a cigarette.
They are dying anyway, let them enjoy...

I'll pay for my own care the day the Government gives me back my money from taxes. Actually I wish we could opt out, and get our own Insurance. It'd be cheaper.

I don't want palliative care anyway, Put a bullet in my head if I'm no loner useful.
