I want a new mp3 player but I dont really want to go back to another ipod. I'm really looking towards the zune. Any opinions on what you think?

 

zune is weaksauce...itunes files dont work on it, it has wifi that is severly crippled...there is another thread around here about the sh*tty M$ Zune

 

itunes files dont really care about nor wifi since i lug a data phone with me 24/7. Im looking towards that or

well if you dont care about any of the frills of the zune then its decent I suppose but just watch out if any files you download from the net are from itunes you're gonna have to re-drm them so the zune will allow you to play them...also media files from the old microsoft "play" or whatever drm or napster downloaded files for that matter...M$ really crippled this device to corner the user into using only their crap.

I'd just go back to the ipod, stuff for it everywhere and its the benchmark everything else looks to be...now if apple ever decides to add bluetooth with A2DP to the ipod it will be perfect...wireless headphones and wireless syncing...that would be pinnacle!

ipod is market leader...everybody makes everything around like adapters for car, home, on the go stuff.
no other device controls its market like the ipod does.
seriously just wait for the iphone or something. or get a 80gb video.

 

I dont need the iphone or a 80gb. I bought a couple of mp3 players from bestbuy just a minute ago. They all seem alright but I think im going to dable with the zune. another reason why I dont want an ipod is just because ive had it for years and time for change.

 

i read an article a while back on how to hack the Zune to make it a more enjoyable device

i use my sony w810i mp3 player, flash light, and sms messenger.

the added phone feature on it is just a bonus.

I'd wait for the next generation Zune and/or ipod if you can...I'd expect an update of both around September...just buy a cheap nano or something till then...

Meh its just like paying for a damn 3 year for the 8800 but I have a data phone already with a 2gb

 

you talk like thats alot of money haha...remember when the razr came out that thing was 500bucks that I happily spent to be one of the first people to have one

My buddy has a Zune, thing is pretty neat. Great resolution, finish, rubber for when you drop it.

Looks like a cool toy to me.

He had no troubles with it, you plug it in, play your mp3s or your vidz, and your done.
