The MLS Soccer Thread

Time to show some love to Toronto FC

anyone get season tickets?
or plan on attending any games?

what are our chances of finding success on the field in the 1st season?

they're playing in a tournement in south caroline right now, and had its first match vs. an MLS team- Houston Dynamo result in a loss (prior to this, TFC had been playing university teams in spring training)

first game kicks off in 2 weeks!

season tickets for sure. already booked, bought, and waiting for arrival. I'll be honest, i played soccer in canada way back when and there was no real funding for mens soccer. The womens team had more funding. I played soccer in germany for 3 years and that was the shyt. I really only bought the season tickets for 2 reasons. A) i love soccer, B) i love beckham. (but not in that way cause i'm happily engaged and soon to be married to my fiancee). Watch for me on Aug 5 towards the end of the game. Toronto will be playing los angeles and i plan on jumping the fence and getting beckham to sign all my shyt before he leaves the field. I'll prolly get arrested but i'm gonna hand all my shyt off to my buddy before they catch me and i'll yell out to him what joint they're going to take me to so he can pick me up.

Ha-ha, i can't wait!

Yeah, when the other team shoots 12 times on goal and you only shoot 4 times, it's no wonder the team loses. At least 0-2 in the first game is not that bad. Let's see what will happen next.

Hopefully they'll atleast pull out a tie on Sat.
C'mon TFC!

Tickets start at $15 and go as high as $60ish I think.

In the beginning it's always tough, but hopefully they'll start winning soon.
