im a morning person on weekends only, usually cause i wanna watch soccer games or F1.
but during the week, jeeze i gotta blare my stereo so i don't fall asleep again when i wake up. this morning i was woken up by DFA 1979, scared the crap out of me and i fell off my bed. i usually have something mellow to wake my *** up, didn't realize i set the wrong cd to play. this morning didn't start off good

IMO the worst time of the year will be upon us soon. That is the super short days of winter. In December and such i would get up and go to work in the dark. Then by the time you finish work it is dark again. Gets kinda depressing always being at work when its light out.

If you wake up early, you can accompolish lots of things. Especially on weekends.
Back in U, my schedule was way off. But such is life. It seemed more logical to work on projects at night, listening to musics and taking those smoke breaks.
I remember when the sun rised, you had this sudden sleeping rush and you could just drop dead right there right then. But after a cold face wash and a smoke, and some breakfast, you are back in action again. Then the sleeping rush interval becomes smaller and smaller until you just crush down and wake up whenever your body tells you to wake up.
So far, my personal record is 53 hours with 9 hours of sleep then another 48 hours followed by drinking part. This was done back in Italy. I was so tired that I felt sleep before my Florentina stake arrived and I chewed 2 bites and I was out. Good times, fo sho.

i've gone more than 48 hours with zero sleep.
i used to get bouts of insomnia. after a while.. it's kinda cool... you feel like you're not really aware of what's going on.. i used to space out a lot.. laugh for no reason at all (even i wouldn't know when i stopped laughing).. etc
i haven't had any bouts in a long time.. but i've changed my lifestyle quit a bit.
i've gone 72 hours with maybe 6 hours sleep... ephedrine and caffiene were my friends. and i passed out while driving twice. haha
my passenger's job was to make sure i didn't fall asleep when i was driving. haha.
ah, to be 20 years old.
