I desperatly need a new phone, and I was thinking of getting the Motorola T720, just wanted to know if anyone heard anything bad or good about it?

where u getting it? sign 2 year contract at AM CALL (pmall) and its only around $170 I believe and comes with all accessories..

My dad was looking to get that phone or the ericsson t68i when the prices comes down a bit, if u do get it tell me how u think

Bah, Motorola makes garbage, unless something has changed that I haven't heard about. Stick to Nokia phones if you can.

Get the Samsung, my dad was going to get one of those but its pretty expensive for 3 year contract at telus its $250 3 GODDAMN YEARS!!! but its the colour screen one,

actually i heard the t720 was pretty good, but from my perspective, i'd only go for phones that not many ppl have here if u get it new and it's tri band

If you’re talking about the Samsung SCP-5000 (silver-purple metallic colour flip phone with a colour screen) I say stay away from it at all possible. I have that one and absolutely hate it. The colour screen is all whacked, you know when you tilt a LCD screen it goes all crazy coloured well it looks like that all the time, the ringer on the phone is too quiet even on high, not to mention to download a ringer tone it has to be a *.midi file which I can hardly find.



The next phone I'm gonna get is the Ericsson T68i that can take pictures when you get the camera attachment.

hmm i believe lcd screens are like that or some
just like a monitor when ur not lookin at the viewing angle, colours everything is different

as for midi files everyone phone is midi files execpt for the one that can have polophonic ringtones, my phone is midi change filename to .mid

dood, if you gonna change to the t68i, why don't you just add a couple of bucks and get a Panasonic GD87? has build in camera and all that stuff already

My cousin has that phone and its pretty good she sais.
But my other cousin has the samsung one and he really likes it.
Yesterday i called bellmobility and ordered the samsung phone from them directly and she waved $200 off the price so im only paying $79.99 and she waved the activation cost and she waved the car adaptor.

But i have to wait about 10 days for it to come.
I dont mind cuz i saved almost $270.00.

Try calling bell yourself and getting a phone through them.

Uhmm i dunno, basically i told her what i wanted and that i didnt want to pay full price for anything. I told her that i have been with Bell mobility for years now and that if she couldnt help me out i would have to go to their competition.


And also that if she could hook me up i would really appreciate it.

i got the t720
and its a really good phone.
only thing that pisses me off it that the phone is kinda big compared to the v70 etc but its nice and simple and really easy to customize and setup the phone

Sunshine that phone your getting is the samsung a460 .... and doesn't have a color screen the samgsung a500 does ... but it's still a good quality phone...

no man, i heard that rogers will have it later on, but it's going to be locked so IMO, not worth getting it...

you can get it in PacMall, but hell no, it's not free, still costs a couple of hundreds but it's a pretty dang good phone
