Motorola V300 Cellphone
This isnt an add or want to buy. This is more of a curiosity question. I already have a v60i. I was watching tv and i saw a commercial for the v300 for 24 dollars. Is that if you sign up? If i were to buy it would i be able to get it for the 24 bucks as an already subscriber? Or must i pay the whole price of the phone? I find this cell phone stuff very confusing.

which cell subscriber did u see it advertised for?? rogers or fido?
cuz at $24 for 2 year is VERY cheap, i would sign up, cancell the contract and pay $200 sell the phone for like $350 and profit that extra $150, so please tell me where
and if you were to sign up you would have to get a new number, a new plan.

the rebate for the phone usually comes in the form of a credit for your cell phone account not in a cheque that you can cash for money...they do this so people dont do what BladeX wanna do...and the rebate usually takes 2 months to be processed

hmm its really cheap and even after rebate...if your a new subscriber or your contract has just ended this is a really great deal, the phone alone is worth about $400 if you were to sell it brand new
but the phone i heard alot of people sending it back to rogers or motorola alot and getting new ones in return because they get dead pixels on the screen, and some other problems i dont know

For those of you who just got the v300, how's the reception? Any problems w/ dropped calls and such as with older motorola phones (esp. v60).
I'm still on a Nokia 8260 (can the laughing folks ) and it still has better receptions than lots of GSM phones, do you think the v300 would be better?
