Hey guys, and gals, I have to move. I don't know whether it be Ottawa or Los Angles, but I'm moving either way. WELL, what i'm curious about is whether anyone has any good suggestions on how to make friends FAST ! 
I know this sounds funny, but i'm not exactly an extravert and usually I meet friends through school. However, in movies, people seem to step into a coffee shop or something and BAM ! friendship happens .... Give me any suggestions ... desperate

Check to see if theres a Civic Web site near your the place you will end up calling your home.
About a year ago, I didn't know ANYONE here that owned a Civic. A year later, I wish I never foud this board. LOL
Don't worry....find a board, and start to chat. Use your head though, and you shopuld be fine.

ok if your into solo 2 racing then find out from the web when the next competition is, buy 45 tim bits and head out to compete ...compete and offer the tim bits to everyone at random great way to meet friends...

Why such a radical move?? Well, for LA, tons of ppl there are on purehonda.com, as for Ottawa, everyone there is really nice, it'll be easy. Once you find a job or something, it'll be a little easier. Just go out all the time even by yourself. Don't be shy. You say you are not an extrovert, but once you get over being timid, it'll be a lot easier the rest of your life... Don't be self concious just cuz you are by yourself. Think of it this way... if they are rude to you, don't worry no one knows you anyways. The whole city is YOUR play ground.
