Loch Ness monster will be captured.
A new board game called Recession.

lol. I never understood why "psychics" don't just predict the lottery numbers and call it a day instead of putting so much effort into their "buisness".

73. Stock Market up and down.--well that is a good prediction since stock market goes up and down daily. does not say to what extent so, in a sense her prediction just came true. oh she's good!

How is it unethical if a large percentage of people choose random numbers on good feelings towards them? What makes one persons good feeling about a number unethical and anothers not? The "psychic" may just be lucky.

well if you think that the numbers are lucky its oki. but now if you have some "special powers" which will allow you to see the future and pick the correct numbers, that would be cheating. ofcourse we all have a feeling about something and i understand that you ment that sarcasticly but just imagine if she would just by any chance win, it would result in a huge dispute since shes a "psychic" and she cheated. so my guess would be they do not want any missunderstanding. also if she would not win it would look bad when she would walk into a gas station/corner store to get her ticket checked and turned out as a non-winning ticket.

ps. psychics do not get lucky. they know whats gonna happen

I think psychics are just good judges of character, and can sometimes apply their judgment to world situations. Like someone said, many of hers are obvious, some more obvious to others

"Hugh Hefner has to watch his health and wealth." = Under prediction of the century.
"A sex scandal around Sarah Palin." = Yawn of '09.

A few notables:
"A worldwide computer virus."
"A kidnapping at the White House."
"********* attack in Toronto, Canada."
"Explosion at the New York Stock Exchange."
"A commercial jet liner and a meteorite will collide."
"Another planet with life will be found in the universe."
"Animals coming into city’s because of global warming."
"A hijacking of a train and explosion at Grand Central Station in New York."
"TroubEL to spend another year in helplessly unrequited love with Amy Lee."

...Possibly related?:
  1. Power blackout in Las Vegas.
  2. A woman from Tennessee wins the biggest jackpot ever at a casino.
...In that order?:
  1. Explosion at the Eiffel Tower.
  2. A daredevil will scale the Eiffel Tower.
Regarding fashion: I like the idea of high shoes & boots, as well as micro mini skirts making a return (as if they were ever out); but, as an average man in the 21st century, I don't see myself wearing a cape anytime soon.

In any case, I'll also be sure to keep an eye to the skies for a UFO that will land (somewhere) within 24 months...

Oh, not too thrilled about an earthquake in Toronto, already lived through 1 in Ottawa ... and haven't women always had "muffs"?

* * *
Additional Note: A true psychic would know how properly to spell the names of popular celebrities.

What is needed to confirm that someone indeed has "special powers". 100% accuracy? 99%? I'm not personally farmilliar with the prediction success rate required to be classified as a psychic, but someone earlier posted that this woman's was 1 in 1000. Thats 0.001% and doesn't seem very successful. The self proclaimed "psychic" may not be psychic after all.

Lets say this person with a 0.001% success rate at predicting the future predicts the correct lottery numbers numbers and wins. Whoa, the odds in that are 1 in 20,000,000 and change. This person would have a success rate around 0.00000005%. Whats the deal, how did they get so much better? Well this is where the "luck" part comes in. Infact anyone who wins the lottery is lucky, considering the odds. Maybe they are all psychics, given that they surpass the required 0.001% success rate?

Maybe it is just too hard for a psychic to predict concrete numbers in the future. Yes that must be it, too hard...but you know what is much easier to do? Say 1000 things about our world that all could potentially happen and cross your fingers (for luck of course) that one of them materializes. Then you'll be a psychic and the world will flock to you for answers, which you will provide (with a 0.001% success rate). People will pay you to be on tv, radio and magazines, you'll be famous, but you still can't predict that pesky lottery. Don't feel bad, nobody can, it all luck. See where I'm going with this?

Its all luck.
