Muffler Tip

To be honest.. I know a muffler tip doesn't do **** for my car except make it look like it has a noisy muffler but being very quiet.

Anyways...

I'm wondering... If I was to get a muffler tip... do you know anywhere that welds it on? How much would it cost? I would need an extension part on my existing pipe to the tip.

Should I get an entire new tip and have this big *** 3.5 to 4" tip sticking out of the back of my car? Or just buy a chrome bolt on exhaust tip (that sits over the existing one to accent my current tip)?

I need some advice. Help me out!

I 'd say go with the nice small clean looking chrome shiiny tip that goes over your stock one, much cleaner look and if you have an intake ppl will be wondering where that spound came from, especially CAI. THe big tips look too ricey in my opinion.
My 2 cents

That was exactly what I was debating. whether or not a tip was too ricey or not.

If somebody says it's too ricey.. forget it.

I'll just get a nice shiny chrome cover that goes over my existing exhaust That looks clean cut

Depending on what care you have, there are a few options.. If you're driving either a Coupe or Hatch, don't get an tips or anything...

I'd go and pick up a stock exhaust (cat back or axle back) from an ITR (Integra Type R), or a SiR. The stock mufflers on those look really nice, and aren't overly loud.

They look much better than the stock pea shooter exhausts that most Civics come with.

Take a look around, you'll see that a nice ITR exhaust draws less attention from police and it also provides just as great "gains" as an aftermarket exhaust does (if any).

But that's just my taste. Find what you like. Don't worry about what other people call rice. It's your car, get what you want!
