Murder/Suicide in Mississauga

This morning on the news I heard that some guy killed his wife, then himself, leaving 3 kids (ages 16-22? ). Apparently this happened in the Cawthra Rd. / 403 area. I was like "**** thats by my house". Well guess what, as I'm pulling into my school I see a house taped off and cruisers everywhere, news vans ,etc. It happened literally RIGHT BESIDE my school (John cabot). This stuff is really messed up. I remember when I was in Grade 7 or 8 in the same area a similar thing happened. Like right down the street. Apparently some guy killed his wife, then one of the kids (young, in grade 1 or so) went to school the next day and asked the teacher if she could help his/her mommy because she was bleeding. Same story, I think the father had waited until the child went to school and killed himself. Honestly, not only is this stuff really sad to hear/read about, but its quite scary. Especially the fact that these 2 events occured in very close proximity to each other.
Today all we had around the school was tons of cruisers, and detectives/forensics guys investigating the scene.

RIP

I live just down Cathra, I was driving up there and saw a ambulance and a City TV truck at the Petro Canada there... Was curious why it was there today... Then I was behind a CTV truck going up Cathra to the 410... Well that is messed up, reminds me of what happen to that funny guy on Saturday Night Live named Phil hartman... But his wife shot him and then herself... Crazy **** guys...

it makes you wonder how far this man was pushed mentallly before making a decision as extreme as this, it's sad to know that our minds have been forced to these measures when it has so much more potential....

may he find peace where he did not find here on earth, and may his wife find peace too. As for the little kids, I pray God watches over them.

what the **** goes threw these peoples mind when they do something so idiotic and ******* stupid. Im happy to hear that he's dead, he should of just shot himself and thats that.

About a month ago just 2 minutes from me in woodbridge a husband killed his wife. They had like 3 kids under 10 years of age and i knew the wife because she used to shop every week where i work. One of the nicest person you would ever meet. It just pisses me off hearing these ******* stories happen

Tragic shiat...ppl just push themselves too hard these days, to afford some decent things, and when they fail, it's easy to snap. Depression and **** is very real folks, and it can affect any of us. I know two ppl from school who tried to commit suicide, both survived the attempt, and while I was at U of Waterloo, some girl hung herself in the Biology building around mid-terms fall 2001 I think. I find the best cure is a good time out, relaxation...some self-medication if that's your thing, or for me just a night out at the clubs does the thing.

Its definitely a tragedy...the reason he killed his wife was because she was unfaithful....sad to see what can happen in situations like that...
