Its a non-turbo Auto.
Reason for non-turbo is because of insurance and auto is because it came like that.
Another reason is because of crankwalk.
Other than that, I think it is

Nice LOOKING car, but since there's no turbo and it's an auto, it's not a real Eclipse. That's like driving a 4cyl Mustang, or an RS Camaro.
Either way, it looks really nice, but any potential for performance is diminished, unless you wanna strap a bottle of NAAWWWWSS on and play 2 Fast 2 Furious.

That's so stupid though. Why would you swap in a different engine into an auto Eclipse, even if you did a manual tranny conversion, when you could save a bunch of money and hassle by buying the AWD turbo model with a stick from factory? You'll save money, and the truth is, the conversion would never be as good as the original factory production. These cars aren't like Honda's where engines are cheap and plentiful and can be swapped by numorous shops. And Civics here weren't given the option of crazy power and AWD from factory. The Eclipse and Talons were. My buddy has a 97 Eclipse he just got 2 months ago, and it's nice, but no turbo, it's just not the same. At least his is stick though. Thing revs like crazy.

Wow you're 100% wrong... You can't swap the 4g63T into a non turbo 2g DSM. Sorry buddy that only applies to the 1g talon.
If you buy a non turbo 2g, your fawked!
Remember you're talking to a guy who had a modded 13sec 2g AWD Talon.
