Got The Call.....

Altech called tonight and I got my quote to get my baby back on the road.... He quoted me $1500.00. At this point I want my car on the road.....If his work is as good as you all say, then he is worth every penny........

Just thought I'd keep you updated....and to keep this tear jerking thread alive

Did mention anything about the install job so far and what are they doing for $1500, wiring, tarnny hole?

Tranny hole, Tranny connection, Wiring, A/C with new compressor for B16, Power Steering line was damaged and a few other parts that were missing..

Basically all Imtech did was mount the engine, install the shift and pedals (not connected)and hook up the exhaust.

I still have to call them up to see if they can tighten my belt that they installed for me cuz it squeels like a pig when it's really cold out.

I get My Ride Back Tomorrow!!!!!!

I get my ride back tomorrow..... Woo Hoo........

Unfortunately, the ECU I had was pooched. I will have to wait until monday before I get the SIR ECU. He put in a DX ECU so that I have a car for the weekend.

:cry:

But I cannot wait to get my baby back !!!!!! So I'll take any old way !!!!!!!!

I know I'll be seeing Joe tomorrow but would the DX ECU cause my check engine light to come on ????

When I hit the highway the check engine light comes on???? Weird!!!!

I think it may because the engine is VTEC but the current DX ECU doesn't have any VTEC settings programed.

Let me know what you guys think.
