yah, chances are its cuz its the wrong ecu... personally, I wouldnt take the engine over 4,000rpm without the proper ecu, but thats just me... I can just imagine how tempting it would be

Damn, those guys really did get in over their head eh... Canadian Tire could of gotten more done than that...lol you could of done that yourself lol I just dont understand how they can call themselfs an import shop and not be able to to an engine swap...

Are they a bunch of kids or something? I hope you get back all the money for labour, it sounds like they only did about 200$ worth of work, pluse the price of parts....

No, not kids. They looked like a reputable shop. They went on to prove that they weren't. I have my meeting today with my lawyer at 2:30pm. I hope it goes well.

Anywho, thanks for the tips.

The swap is officially completed. I have VTEC, I have the CEL out etc..... This puppy FLYS!!!!!!!!

Now I understand what you guys mean't by when VTEC kicks in the car screams!!!!!!! HOLY CRAAAAAAAAAAA-AAAAAAAAP

Well I served the papers on the owner and his wife on Wednesday. I am waiting to see if they want to settle out of court. My first appearance for the case is in March 2004.

altech is a great place i blew my headgasket on my stock d15 i called joe and he said he could get me a zc for a great price anyways i was in a 9am and out by 6pm on the same day

they do great work
