i would have to agree with most of you .hondas products spank mazdas hands down , and this is coming from someone that isnt a real big honda fan .they are great cars just see to many of them .if middlemiss got a mazda he would kill it before he left the lot, if not shortly after .

LOL! thats the same thing happend on my buddys mazda 6, some squeeking coming from the engine.. complete engine swap on 15,000Km heheh stupid ford engines!

Mazda is one car i'd stay away from ... can you say FORD/Mazda
just garbage .. my sister has a 2000 protage and its brutal lets say.

I just drove Mazda 3 Sport GT, I thought they were pretty nice.

Hopefully they corrected the problems for the 05 models.

Rule of thumb, never buy a car in its initial production year

man they havent changed anything from 04to o5except they added 3m clear protection on the side skirts .other then that its still the same pos .

Sometimes they change many things and they fine tune things.

But nothing enough that they can mention it in their advertising, like: "We fixed the busted #3 cylinder problem in the '04 model"

im still fighting with the dealer /mazda . i just really think that this car isnt as good as they claim it as. go to a few mazda 3 forums and you will see the are many problems with the 3 example the a.c isnt very cold on every 3 . but its you money buy what you like , just trying to give you a heads up .

Hey Mike, did you contact Mazda head office yet? What did they say?

Maybe they'll buy your car back? It happened to one of my buddies too. He was a pain in their *** for months and they finally decided to buy his car back from him.
