it is possible, but requires a lot of mods (not the ones you buy at the source, radioshack), and isn't really achievable off the dyno (they have little dynos for them). there are some on the net that have upgraded batteries (li-ion), bigger motors than available in the stores, upgrade wiring, bearings, and they can reach around those speeds (70km/h, not m/h)....

and these things are crazy.. the nitro cars u can mae them go up to 100mph.. i saw a vid last night its ****ign insane.. and a 200mph one on a rope.. man thats insane lol.. to fast for a rc car.. lol i wanna get one make it fast and take it to the track lol would be lots of fun hahah

maybe next year kracker we should do thats ee if they let us race them there hahahaha... if not there is a alot of room in cayuga to do it :P

yeah. its true. they can go that fast. there hard to handle after 80-100km. and the 200mph ones are a rocket car on a rope that goes around and round. look for the video on limewire.
