Ok, I for one am tired of all this Native Shiet! We stole there land and blah blah. How many of them was there 200 years ago? Not that many and obviously the land was useless to them then to sell it off for a rifle and and a bottle of whiskey! I feel that our Govt. provide more then enough to them for the "atrocities" that may have been done 2 centuries ago! Have any of you been up north, north of Sudbury??? I don't think 98% of you have been up there. I have relatives in Thunder Bay, and been going there for at least twice a year, let me tel you what I seen and know:
FIRST- the Govt give them FREE HOUSES'! And I'm not talking bout no Tepee. I"m talking bout a new house 3000 sq. ft. +! These are homes that alot of us can only dream bout buying sometime in our life!
2ND- Most of the house's have 3or 4 NEW cars and trucks! A big fav. of theirs is the Ford 350, fully decked out! We're talking bout the one that is over 50k!
3RD - they get money from us without EVER having worked for it
4TH - They pay no tax!!
5TH THEY PAY NO FCUKIN TAX!! using OUR tax money!
6TH - They get to own and opperate Casino's that Revinue SHIET LOADS OF KAAA KHING!
7th - They love to blame the WHITE man for everything, they're alcoholics cause of the white man, their this and that cause of the white man, so the govt. throws some sort of aid toward them.
8th - They usually don't pay their water, gas, or hydro bill (seen this first hand up there to like over 60% of those beautifull houses), so when they get the utilities cut, they just start ripping up the house, to burn in the fire place! <---SERIOUSLY!!!
9 - How they say it's their Native right to hunt seal and whale, its their haritage and blah blah, yet they use the fastest, strongest boat loaded with the latest technology to do this. If it's your heritage and shiet, here's an AX there's a TREE go make your FCUKIN canoe and use a branch to make a spear!

Personally I think enough is enough, get over it, you have MORE then enough now STFU and stop drinking get a job and get a life. OR cont. drinking and mouching off of us, ( don't mind) as long as you stop your BIATCHIN!

THis is true, they have a part of north bay which is called the reserve. Really nice houses in this area

Yes your right, forgot about that one, still doesn't compare to the tax we pay. Think of it at least 33% of your income is taxed, then ontop of that everytime you purchase something, you pay more tax. So double taxing!

let me ask u a q

would u be complaining if u lived a more comfortable life? (better income...nicer house...nice cars)

Terry....debt is inevitable...just b/c someone put himself in debt and has a degree does not mean that another person w/ less debt and no degree is any better off....a Bachelor degree from University now a days is useless.....and in 10 yrs time maybe, a Masters will be useless....b/c everyone will have one

nevertheless...any degree from University is better than no degree

Being in debt is nothing bad. Sometimes you can make money off being in debt. If you're pulling in 150k, paying off a half million in mortgage doesnt even seem noticable.

Are you going into teacher's college next year? If so, I hope you have some good teachables, but it's hard as hell to get a job!

There is nothing more important in this world than education, no matter how lame it sounds, its true.

By forfeiting that avenue in life, your closing more doors than you realize. And in all honesty, i dont want to pick on you, but if you seriously think that someone without a post secondary degree will do better than somone with one you really need to open up your eyes since you're sheltered to the world around you.

I'm far from being in debt, and maybe i am better off than most people, but you must be delusional if you think i got everything i wanted paid for. Just because i'm not in debt doesnt mean I'm one of those rich kids that got everything I wanted, far from it if you knew the truth. I worked my *ss off for what i have and did it without the help of anyone else but myself.

There's a reason people are continually upgrading degrees to the MBA's and masters etc. And it's just like said above sooner or later even your basic degree will be outdated, and then you'd be lucky if East Side Mario's will hire someone with only a high school diploma.

I do have a few teachables, but I'm planning on doing my Master's at the same time. Teaching is one aspect of a career that i'm looking at, there are a few more that I'm taking a shining to.

As for the job aspect I dont know specific statistics, but I dont know one person who's graduated from teachers college that hasn't got a job within 3 months.

Back onto the train ****

Where are the cops? How come they don't arrest these offenders?

Have you ever driven past Camp Ipperwash near Grand Bend? Count how many burnt/stripped cars you see. See how run down the land looks?

My buddy car broke down on the reserve just south of Sarnia. Left it to go call a tow truck. Came back within 1/2 hr to it being stripped and burnt. This was on the main road into Corunna around 6pm on Saturday evening.

well said .. and again i wasnt knockin you .. as sometimes it might come across as if i am.. (hence why i had to add my signature)

im sure degree's are good for some ppl, but in all honesty if your saying that no drgree = no real job in life your mistaken ... some ppl do school .. some ppl dont .. i was one of em, i could have gone to school and taken what i liked (computers) but at that time everyone, thier cousin and thier granparents were in school for computers. So i decided to just do my A+ and focus on work experience. At the same time as many ppl are aware i DJ ... no school needed for that and no courses needed either ... practice makes perfect ..

No offence taken I understand where you're coming from.

I do think that having a degree is one of the best and most rewarding financial and educational investments you will ever make. However, not everyone is afforded that opportunity or cannot, due to circumstances beyond their control.

As well as you saying you're a DJ, there are obviously some professions that do not require higher education, and im not knocking that either; may it be a skilled trade or whatever, It can be just as satisfying, as like you said, school isnt for everyone.

my beef just revolves around that one specific group of people that have never gotten a degree but simply state "yah it's easy, i could of gotten it if i wanted, but there's no point." well if it was so easy then they should have just did it.

Someone should point that to native leaders that post secondary education is free for them and they don't have to pay a lot of taxes like everyone else once he's done his rounds huffing burning plastic coke bottles into his lungs.

I blame poverty on the stupidity of the community. If immigrants can come here with nothing and become succesfful, so can someone with nothing but advantages over the immigrant.

I think the natives should be rounded up and shipped off to mexico. they will fit in quite well over there.
Agreed except for the Mexico part, they can have Sudbury.
