Well, my ex-gf's mom was a homeopath and did naturopathic stuff. She was heavily into that as well as something called Brain-Gym. Which is absolutely insane, really helped my back and such.

Personally with what I've experienced... some things works like miracles and some don't really do much. For 3 years she treated me for pretty much everything and most of it did work for me as I could tell quite a difference in my health.

I would recommend it, but at the same time you have to be wary as to who you go to. It's not easy but you should be able to tell who you can trust and who you can't.

If you want some further pointers on anything about it or any questions I should have an answer for it (I've been treated more times than I can remember).

I hope it goes well for you.

there will always be freak accidents where people will somehow get cured and attribute it to naturopathy, but on average its just a placebo effect

save your money, listen to your doctor and lose weight
while I do agree that naturopathy is a new science and there is much to be explored... Modern medicine is no different, they know Asperin works to relieve pain but they don't have a clue as to how it works... They give out anti-boatics in hopes of killing off viruses .. in the end they create super viruses that are resistant to the anti-bodies.

Naturopathy is just a different method for treatment of the same ills. Modern or "western" med is derived from Europe orginally, before europeans set foot on North America they had their own way of dealing witht he ills of the humans living here. and look at eastern medicine, Asia has developed a completely different method of treating desease.

Okay first off thanks everyone!

And second...

Lose weight.. if only it was that simple. I have health problems such as insulin resistance and others that are causing me to gain weight, I am not fully blaming my weight gain on my insulin resistance and other problems, but they are the main contributor.
My PCOS and Insulin resistance works against me when trying to loose weight, I've done weight watchers, herbal magic, atkins, excersize and all those, its more complex than excersize and eat right. My body does not break down insulin and sugars like a normal persons body does, I basically have Type 2 diabetes, and ask any diabetic (the majority of them) how difficult it is to loose weight. I am not by any means using this as an excuse, but its difficult for me, I went from a tiny person, to this huge thing (mandie is going to get mad that i said that lol) in like a few months, I gained almost 60 pounds in one year, and my doctor couldn't understand why, I was charting what I was eating and everything was good, I was eating my suggest amount of calories, drinking 8+ glasses of water a day, and working two jobs, so I was getting my share of being on my feet (I know that not excersize, but its not like I was sitting on my *** all day) I guess its one of those things thats hard for somone to understand unless they are in the situation, its still hard for me to understand.

thank you for the support though from everyone. I just think this is another route I can look at, and I know it works for some people and I know for others it doesn't. but I dont think its a fluke thing that just was a coincidence that just happened. Maybe it helps people get the mindset to do better for themselves and the viatmins and such give them a boost and give them more engery to achieve these goals.

And Matthew, my fertility problems has nothing to do with the "size" of dennis, nice joke, but to me its not funny.

Being told by 3 doctors that I need to come to terms with the fact that I might not ever have a child of my own is upsetting, unless your a woman at a child bearing stage of your life, no one would understand.

thanks again everyone!!!!
