Has anyone ever been in a car crash or received some other type of injury where it was necessary to go to the hospital or receive medical treatment?
Any horror stories?

In hockey I got ****in' smoked into the boards, was about 1 ft away, double hit, the guy and the boards, broke my collar bone, seperated both shoulders. Skated off without falling, sat down on the bench, couldn't get up, had to be trucked to the hospital.....fack that was painful....


At the bar, I had to get 8 stitches....stupid guy wore rings....

me personally nah ...

my mom got into a pretty bad accident 2 weeks ago .. she called me like right after impact .. i was terrified ..

other than that .. had 2 best friends in a bad car accident too .. they didnt make it


but personally nothing for me .. 1 minor accident .

yea it was badd .. dont wanna spill it all over the boards .. but yea the car was T-Boned twice .. everyone is okay .. my uncle (driver) is still in hospital but he will be out soon ..

april 97. broke down on the side of the highway in an old school 89 dodge caravan extended cab. 401 / keele area @ 10:30pm, in the express lanes, left shoulder. Yeah I know, worst place but had no choice when a tire blew out and we went flying towards the left shoulder.

We weren't moving from our seats cuz it was crazy scary watching cars flyby. Bout 5 mins went by ........ An Aerostar van wasn't paying attention, slid into the shoulder a bit, freaked out, slammed on the brakes and hit us head on at around 140KM/HR (estimated by the investigators). The back of my van sunk in about 3 feet. We bounced of the guard rail, hit another car. 4 lanes shutdown on the 401 that night.

When I awoke from the crash, my brother was just getting up. Mom passed out and the women in the other car was stuck under the steering wheel screaming in agony. We all lived with minimal damage, my mom however had a broken collar bone. All the seats locks had snapped and were laying down flat.

Yep, driving can be very dangerous...

got t-boned downtown last year, ambulance took me, my friends, the driver of the car we were in for injuries, i had bruised rims, my buddy had glass all stuck on his face, the front passanger had major back problems, as for the driver of the car that t-boned us, he had a broken wrist.

I was on reading week so me and all my brothers friends (much older than me, 23+) went down to Stella's saturday night. I was dancing on the dancefloor with this girl that came up with us, and then outta nowhere I get cracked in the face and I fell backwards because I wasn't expecting a punch at all. So then I bounced back up and the bouncers were already ontop of the guy hitting him and then one of my buddies friends seen the guy hit me at the last second, so he tried to get at him, but the bouncers grabbed him and then my brother ran at the guy and cracked him in the back of the head and he got kicked out. All my other brothers buddies went after him too, but the bouncers took him out the back door, and kicked us out the front. I still do not know who the guy is, where he came from, etc. All I know is that I got cracked without even seeing anything coming. Before I gathered what was going on, the bouncer asked if I was alright, I said yah man, just a punch, then he said that I was bleeding everywhere. I had a gash under my eye because the guy that hit me was wearing rings. I got 8 stitches and I got a black eye now. When we got outside, tried to go around the building to find the guy but he was gone.


I'm guessing it was one of those drunk cowards trying to look for a fight. Too bad you cant get a fight outta someone when the guy doesn't know you wanna fight or if you crack a guy without the other guy having ANY idea it was coming.

Had a seizure when I was a baby, got to go for a ride in the truck

When I was little I had a picket fence go through my chin, had to go in the ambulance then

Last May I was a passenger in my friends car, we got T-boned by a kid who was driving while stoned on my side of the car, I got pinned inside, police, fire and ambulance showed up, was taken to the hospital with minimal injuries-thank god! Im sure I had my guardian angels with me that night.

never had to take "the bus" to the hospital...I refused treatment after I got smoked by an impaired driver...I maybe shoulda went to the hospital to get checked out but my threshold for pain is extremely high

Before I could drive my mom and I were rear ended by a guy driving an early 90's Tercel @ ~ 65-70. He hit us so hard that it sent the front of my mom's station wagon into the air which carried us into the Suzuki in front of us. Shortened the frame about 2 inches and the car was a write off.

But that's nothing compared to your story Khosh...Holy crap!

Just 4 months ago lol. Was hit by a reckless 50 year old asian lady. I was stopped, she hit me going 60. Both me and the passenger were taken off in strecthers. I was hit so hard that I touched the car in front, front end was just paint damage and the hood was bent, as well as the rad being pushed in.

The only reason I was in the hospital was not cuz of the pain in my head, was because I couldnt walk.

I ****ed up my knee as a result of it, lost cartilage around my kneecap, needed physio and rehab for a good 3 months. And both me and the passenger suffered extreme whiplash, and the passenger suffered a hip injury as a result of it.

Lost 2 inches of the total length of the car. Huge fold in the trunk floor. Rebar support snapped in half, pushed in about a foot. Exhaust was toed out, suspension was toed, doors were bent. Trunk had to be pryed open. Car was written off, $6500 dollars of damage to the rear end. I put a nice size hole in the dash board as a result of my knee hitting the dash, and I had steering wheel brusing on my stomach.

I was 100% not at fault, insurance covered the car, as well as extensive rehab for both of us.

Lady got charged with 6 points, and reckless driving. She changed lanes to avoid a trunk, and didnt see a stopped purple car, 9 am in the morning during rush hour traffic.

I still miss it.

Not me, and i wrote off my old 98 civic si into a fence and 4 polls and if i didnt hit the polls the car was going to flip a few time, but the car only went air born for like 10 feet in the air, and i had the car facing up words when i hit the last poll. this all happend at 160 km's and walked away from it with only a few cuts. This is the only pic i have of it now when i was still driving it, i lost all the pic's that were on my computer i took of it after the crash, no thanks to my computer crashing.

got pushed off of a ski lift as it was taking off. this kid came rushing through to get on when the lift was already taking off and pushed my best friend off, which made me fall off cuz i was right beside her. i dont get where the kid was aiming his butt for cuz my friend and i were right at the edge of the seat. anyway, so my friend fell off first and i tried to hang on for dear life as long as i could cuz i knew if i fell, i'd fall right on top of her, but i ended up slipping and to make sure my board didnt slice her, i forced my legs up and so i landed on my back. almost past out but they kept yelling at me to stay awake. got taken to the hospital in the ambulance cuz they were afraid that i had suffered back/neck injury. but all was good. my body went into shock though, got a cold the next day and my body hurt like a *****.

in grade 9 i drank too much with my friend (first time drinking) so my mom (who came home later that night) had to call an ambulance cuz i was way too drunk....i got alcohol poisoning and had my stomach pumped.....lol.....worst idea to drink ever!

last year, totaled my car, rolled it 3 times and landed upside down on the road.

Luckily cop was right behind me and took care of it real quick, he had those medical kits.

Touchwood not a single scratch on my body from it………….long story short I didn’t get any major injures, just a minor lower back pains when its little cold outside.
