Hey guyz,

I know this is kind of stupid but Im doing it anyways...what better way to get contacts and hire ppl u know.

I just got laid off from Bestbuy for no freakin reason...then again I was hired as seasonal 5 months back so they can do whatever they want with me without giving me a reason. Bastards...
newayz..they just laid off all the seasonals including me a week b4 school. I need to pay my bills so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Looking for a Part time job...pref evenings on weekdays...any time on weekends (no night shifts) Also any time on Thursday.

As for pay...Id hope that its more then 9/hr

I have alotta experience and knowledge with digital photography, cameras, and editing.

I also have alotta good work experience, like homedepot 2 years, bestbuy 5 months, Blacks photography 1yr, and another company for 1 year that not many know off..Psion Teklogix.

You can get $10-12 an hour if you apply to be a page at a Toronto Public Library branch.

umm..I have like 5 months of experience at a school library way back from highschool... but..whats a page? n the pay sounds good, I dont care how boring the job is... link me up with more info on how to go about it if u dont mind

A page is the person who puts books back on the shelf. It's really boring, but if they put you on check-in/check-out its good cause you make double the pay.
If you go into a larger branch and ask for an application and apply there they will give it to a few other branches in their region.

I have friends that have told me that they constantly hire at Staples and Grand & Toy, but I'm not sure about the pay.

Ive been to the Mississauga Library askin for a job for my sis while ago and they seem to be VERY picky...I dono how ppl get it...Ive checked online and there arent any postings...and Ive been in to ask and same thing..I'll go ask them again cuz its been a while. I dont care how boring it is...if they pay is good and if its as ez as putting books back..I dont care. I may look like a nerd working but hey...would a nerd own that VVVVV

Most jobs with the OLGC at the Casinos start at around $15hr. They may still be looking for Slot Technicians so your electronics background may help. You can also drop off a resume at Woodbine because I'm sure they will be looking for help for the summer.

since your cars colour is metallic green try to find companies that have green or metallic green logo or symbols that might be intersted in advertising and go to them with a porfolio of your car and maybe you can score something. for example the xbox integra (metallic green with jdm front end).

you should expect anywhere from 3000 and up for a month depending on how they big they want to promote.

Sorry to interrupt your thread but im very interested in this topic. I dont exactly NEED a job, but working min wage at sportcheck blows, so it's really cool to see people helping each other out like this.
Btw, about that car sponsorship stuff, how done up does your car have to be to even be considered. Im sure they dont accept bone stock cars, but on the other hand it would seem like they want room for their own products.

Woodbine I'm willing to try, since Im sure they got alotta hours plus I can drive to Woodbine ...schools close too.

Ajax may be a stretch.

As for sponsorship...hmm I thought about that..like from TD or Xbox...but the money that they give u ...is it supposed to only go towards the advertising like making the car better to promote the company?

I guess the sponsorship can be done in the long run but I need something now to keep me on my feet.
