You don't need a CC to buy off ebay (last time I checked) you only need one to sell. You can send payment using money orders (thats what I do) and bypass needing a CC, but you do need a non-free email account is you can't use yahoo/hotmail.

I could bid on it for you too if you want.

Hey, since you seem like you are new to ebay, watch the shipping... $10 USD in shipping, plus say you pay min price, $10... that's $20 USD plus exchange that's $27, plus duty (if they ship UPS) which they do ALL THE GOD DAMNED TIME, the minimum brokerage charge is $39.95 + tax... that's $70 for a shift **** that you can buy for $20-30 at pac mall. E-bay can be a real rip if you don't watch it.

the minimum brokerage charge is $39.95 + tax...
B, does that brokerage fee goes by the size/weight of the item? I just ordered a B&M short shift from Option a couple days ago

It depends when you signed up, 2 years ago they put an end to using free accounts w/o CC verification. You can still use them long as you put down your CC, least thats what I read on the site recently. I think it had something to do with people doing false bids, any yahoo can make a yahoo account and start placing million dollar bids on everything, but if you go through your ISP I guess they figure they can track ya down. BTW i'm basing this on when I signed up 2 years ago, It might have changed.

But if you can ship to USA and pick it up like I do... then you save a lot more. Like they want $100 here in town for a command flo ... it's $59 bux over there... so I still save $20 bux... on such a small part it's not bad. Plus if I have it shipped with my lower braces, I'll save even more. optauto, here I come... LOL

But even if you pick it up in the States, don't you get charged when you passing the border? I mean, I could hide a little short shift but maybe not 4 brand new wheels or an engine block...

You'd be surprised LOL I get my wheels in BC though... tiretrends.com or across the border on steelies, and back on rims... leave the steelies at friend's place, and pick them up later one by one.

Yea shipping to the US is better, if its something small and its getting shipped UPS sometimes its better to ship it within the US and then get them to ship it USPS to bypass brokerage and those insane fees they charge to ship to Canada. Anyone ever notice what people charge compared to what actual shipping costs are, like I've seen 30US to ship a CAI, whereas I've shipped an oversize R/C boat for 25 CDN (like 5 feet long). It's pretty bad sometimes...
