Need help on Confucianism paper!!!!
thught id see if any of you guys (alot of you who go to U of T) could help out my girlfriend. She has a paper due on chinese philosophy but cant figure it out. The question is:
One paper of 8-10 pages, typed written and double spaced, on problems related to the Other based on research done by reading three or more books suggested in the reading list or elsewhere.
If you guys could post a link or any kind of info on this topic, please respond! What the hell is "the Other"???
thanks again!

i'm from U of T and i've taken that course
it could mean confucious vs other philosopher in their philosophies
or it could mean compare the different passages/scriptures/texts...
ask the prof again...this paper wasn't meant to be hard, in fact, this course is meant to be easy....
is this essay 1 or essay 2?
i remember when i take it, 1 essay was to compare/discuss a few passage given by the prof and/or choose some passage from the book
then esssay 2 was to choose a topic on the sheet and discuss and compare it with other philosopher using book and outside source

But like Bruce Fee Said, it doesn't hurt email the Prof or TA for a little more clarification......or asking classmates for a general direction
