So a while back i posted a thread about a friend at work with debt issues due to his wife having a kidney operation and him losing his job.

anyways, his wife is recovering well now and he actually was able to get his old job back.

he's looking for a lender to consolidate his debts [credit cards, etc]

suggestions? [i suggested the big chartered banks, of course] any others or any particularly good chartered banks?
we're talking like upwards of $80K here.
