Excellent game for the PC and Xbox...I would assume the same for PS2 though I have never tried.

Just bought mine from Pac Mall lastweek, I've got the PS2 version. But if you've been playing Gran Turismo Series, you may found the grahics kinda crappy when comparinsg between the two.

Drifting part is kinda fun, Best with RX-7!

Qs to those who have played the underground mode...
I am only at 6/111 right now...I am wondering if I could go back to previous level to earn more points before moving on?
I do not want to start from scratch again (e.g. new profile)...

Thanks!

as far as i know, you cannot go back, trust if you could have i would have done it, i'm at race 98/111 and theres a few i wish i could do over.

but yeah the graphics don't compare to gt3, but gt3 seems to be a more serious game, this one is not, its for the pure fun of racing around and doing up your ride.

I recommend it

why need to go back.. if you do easy race for all of them you still should have plenty of money! the game is good... WAY BETTER than midnite club! ive already beat it

What I found so funny about the game is...I have to "Rice-out" my Car to get reputation...

And I think the game is pretty easy, and won't stress me out like GT3's F1 Race...50 laps x 10 races! that's too much!

Which car are u guys' using in NFS? I am using the Civic...

regards,
Mugen C

i'm using the civic too... couldn't resist cuz it looks like mine! 6th gens rock!!!

i love the game, it's true more fun than gt3, sorta carefree ish... but yeah i wish you could go back and do certain levels over instead of continuing, also that would sorta suck when you finish the game and then do you have to make a new profile or what? that's the only downside IMO

ya i started using the 6th gen, just like mine....i wish they had a code or something you could type in to give you the option to put steelies on your car, then i could really make it look like mine.

the car i use most is the rsx, i think it is the best all around, teh skyline is fast but feels too heavy, or else i'd be using that all the time

i love the game.
I think the graphics are awesome though. I dunno, maybe it's just me. The whole water on the road, and seeing the cars reflection and the streetlights reflections and stuff, way too cool.

I love all the options the best though. It's about time that a game came out with this many mods you can do. ricey or not, it's still fun IMO.

The only thing i can think of that would make it better would be engine swaps! that'd be awesome!!!

the civic is the second fastest car at the end....lol it is tied stat wise with the gtr! how lame is that? and they didnt even add the good impreza, its the 2.5rs not the wrx lol. i stuck with the civic but each time i did a drift race i traded for the rx7

no way man, nfs is **** compared to gt3. Gran turismo is way more realistic than nfs. A civic is like **** on a stick compared to a skyline

u put that perfectly kwik..... NO GAME WILL EVER TOP THE GRAN TURISMO SERIES! (other than a new gran turismo) and only very few even come close enough to be compared to it. they are totally different kind of games. granturismo is a sim and nfsu is arcade type. its like comparing madden nfl to nfl blitz, one goes for realism and one goes for fun factor. ive got to say a game that is a good blend of both of these is tokyo xtreme racer ( any in the series) TXR goes for realism but it has a little arcade feel to it. i recommend checking TXR3 out, SIK!

Yeah I find that GT3 is more of a realistic type but I'm looking for something where I can modify cars, and just have fun...
judging from all the input I think I'll get it come boxing day...
