New $20 Bill Weaved With Microchip Implant...

The new $20 USD note to be starting circulation on thursday i beleive, has a microchip weaven into the new $20USD bill, most probably an RFID chip.

This means that the government through a $20usd can get any persons exact location of where abouts they are, and if im not wrong ... these chips also contain a history of where the money has been and where it has come from, they say its for security purposes to track down drug laundered money etc.

Checkout headline over here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/3176848.stm

Big brother approach is getting very very strong by the week.

Its not long before this microchip implant will be forced upon all the people of the world... Also ... the US Department of Agriculture has brought 300,000 implantable RFID microchips for putting into animals they say, to test for chronic diseases n stuff.

Interesting, how soon before they put these chips in us?!?!?!?

they've been doing this for a while, my dog had a chip implanted like 6 or 7 years ago so if we lost her we could find her... and where does it say there's chips in them?

haha... no we had that strip in our old currency back in yugoslavia (dinar), and you can pull it out if you see fit. Besides, money changes hands, so my $20 bill could become YOUR $20 bill, so when they try to track me... they in fact get YOU!! Haha, that theory is ******* retarded It's just hella harder to counterfeit, that's all, it's no microchip. Besides, what if you toast the $20 bill in the oven for like 10 minutes at 150 celsius. The paper won't catch fire, but the chip would be fuct! Besides that, a paper note has a short lifespan, and it costs a buttload of money to keep paper in circulation, so imagine if they added an extra cost of a chip to it

the point is that it's cool.. and people actually become used to it and eventually it'll be normal to have chips and implants on everything...

but it's not true!!! OK, so MY $20 bill comes with me to the grocery store... I pay for a family pack of condoms and some bubble gum and hand over the $20 bill that in their system is registared to me. Now, I get $2.43 in change. I leave the store and go about some ********* act. How do they know on their ********* tracking screen that I'm not still at the grocery store?

Well, aside from this thread being 8 years old, If you carry a cell phone you can be tracked town at any time, never mind the $20 bills.

I doubt a small, thin, cheap (has to be cheap if they are on the $20 bills) chip can be tracked with a satellite or something. Probably gotta be really close to communicate with the chip. Think: Visa Paypass
