As with any dealership, they ask you for a deposit of $1000 when purchasing a new car, which I payed.
Right now it's in the financing approval stage of the purchase. Once it's approved, can I get the $1000 deposit back if I back out of the purchase?

So even if I sign a purchase agreement, I can still get my deposit back? I don't understand why someone would have to sign a purchase agreement if they haven't even been approved yet for financing.
