hi i just saw a comershal that the new inpalla runs on 4 cilinders wen in normal use but then u stomp on the gass and the extra 2 kick back in how does it do that ???
just cuts the gass off ???

True, only word to describe it is disaster.
Driving on the highway and suddenly your v8 becomes a v4 and doesn't switch back to v8 until you get ****ed by the dealer.
But now its pretty good supposedly. The new line of Yukon's/Tahoe's/Suburban's/Denali's/Escalade's has it, same with the Hemi's and I bet lots of other cars too, its old news. The fuel savings on the GMC suv's weren't as good as I thought it would be though.

it has nothing to do with vtec and it would defeat the purpose of vtec actually.
the tech has been around for years now.

yea i was going 2 say vtec and this are nothing alike but im no genius so i was wating 4 somebody else 2 reply from what i know that vtec changes the time doration that fuel and air and egsause valves are open 4 yea am i corect ???
it increases the presure inside with more air more fuel and gloses the exhaust off early so it has allittle more presure or am i like totaly off here im thinking mabie the extra presure from closeing the exhaust eary may be worng
