If anyone has it, do u guys know how to play online with others, im trying and I can't get it going, I need to know the chat names so I can go in them, anyone know where I can get them?

I just played my first online game with some dude from OHIO, I was down 5-2 and caught up in the 3rd with 4 straight goals but the bastard beat me in OT 7-6 after he scored another 1 minute left in the 3rd
Still good, it ran a bit slower in online mode and it froze a few times on my side, it may be my comp or just the connection b/c it never happens when I play the comp.

I have it for PC...im in my 6th season with Dynasty Mode...Dynasty is the way to go...My office looks sick, my player salaries total is only $60 million and my profit is at $94 million...My first line consists of Gaborik, Spezza and Kovalchuk all above 93 ratings...this game is the best

Punk, you connect directly to the computer. So if I want to play you I need your I.P adress or vice versa and I just connect to you right away and then it takes you to the team selection screen and then we go from there.

The game is extremely challenging unlike previous versions...
There are 4 levels...
Beginner, you can pretty much score if you take a shot from the blueline everytime.
Easy, pretty simple and challenging if youve just started...
Medium, this is a big jump from easy, dont expect to be slaughter the weak teams.
Hard, just near impossible to score more than 3 goals in a game...and its hard as hell...

ok thats what i wanted to hear... the reason for asking is that if i had to go through an EA server then a burned copy wouldn't work... or it would but then EA would know who you are that you are using a burned game.... i should have it up and running this weekend now

^^ true, im playing in medium as the leafs and im 8-9-2. Im getting rocked, this level is hard, they intercept all of ur passes, every slap shot u take they dive their men in front of the puck, the second u touch the puck they mash you, good luck getting the puck on their powerplays, the goalies make stops that are nearly impossible to make don't know how they do it.
Plus this game isn't stupid either, I tried to trade like 3-4 of my **** *** players for 1 good forward in the 90's like federov and they won't to it, I tried so many times,the only way they accept is if you lose out lol

i'm glad to hear its harder... i used to be hardcore into nhl98... i could score 10 goals a game on allstar... i thought the gameplay really went down for 99 though... and i haven't really played anything since... but i'm excited about this one now

man i just had a tough game.... i had it on easy cause i've still only played like 3 full games... anyways i was colarado and was against st louis... at one point it was 4-0 for me... then the computer started going hardcore... and i was down 4-8.... so i tied it up by the end of the game and then 15 secs into overtime the computer comes over the blue line shoots and scores... such a waste.... time to start the dynasty over again... gotta go undefeated
