Nissan Sentra SE-R

I know that they have 165 stock horse power but if I went up against this guy on the track who do you think would win ?

Reason being is because a guy around here has one and think he is king **** about it.

By the way, I have a 94 hatch with a b16 swap w/ cai, exhaust (no header). LSD, lightened flywheel to 11lbs, clutch, and a couple others.

spec V or no?

Let him talk ****, who cares... tell him he's the man

You got a faster car hands down, now... how you drive is a diff't story I don't know... bottom line is, you got nothing to prove... so what if his car is faster than yours or vice versa... will you get paid more... no! will you get laid more... no! will you make more friends? no! So... who cares?

Take his dashboard appart and scramble the pieces when he's not looking, see if he can put it back together... his whole dash is a bunch of Lego pieces.

besides that ser is heavier than yours , so your power to weight is probably better with your swap

Is it the black one with the bling chrome rims? I test drove one a while back. The shifter sucked! He would prolly miss abunch of gears even if he could keep up with you.

Nope its not that one. Although I think that SER is pretty sick. Thats a spec V as well.

The guy he's talking about went to Newman, and just got it. I think he lives on your street as well Mike, just a bit further towards the escarpment.

BTW get on msn, I need to talk to you.

Sentra, an ugly car to begin with, I don't care how fast it goes, it will never register in my book.

ok this is a silly topic but the replise are really not thought through...

you said on track...1/4 mile or track?

frankly if you ask me you are both dumb for driving diffrent cars and comparing them....now if you had a 4 door civic with a b16 and no other mods would you win?..NO...but you are comparing a car that is HALF THE SIZE of a SE-R and has a much lower center of gravity and much less tuning done to the suspention and wheels.

i would need full mod lists to tell you the actual winners in diffrent situations but with the information you have given i would take the cars for what they are worth and say this....

1/4 mile-
you would win based on weight and air flow vs. stock nissan SE-R but that isnt saying much

Shannonville-
i think you guys would have a nice race on your hands but the sentra might take you assuming the driver knows how to use his weight in the turns and how to block you on the straights. but i see that you have a nice drop and rims and assuming you didnt cheap out on tires and those arnt cut springs then you might stil have the advantage.

but in my opinion you would lose over all..cause in your sig you are missing a side skirt!

Most of the regulars know about 2 rice 4 u's car,,, its HAPPYB16's old car. So yeah, I've been in it, still have to drive it to confirm, but it is definately faster than a stock SER. Thats all he was asking, 1/4 mile only.

in scc some time ago they dyno'd the SE-R v spec which is rated at 180hp.... and it only put something like low 140's for hp to the wheels.... but i think the motors have a lot of potential... stock they are just blah... a b16 powered 5th gen hatch is the right hands is a quick car

all i am saying about this topic is apples to oranges though....

forget him and race me!
my car is only 135 hp stock and it's a 2 door sports coupe with excelent suspention this is a better match up with your car and a true test of your modding vs. another modded car that would have been comparable at first (keep in mind that my car is not stock) however if you want to belittle the guy lemme give you some advise...kick his *** in a v6 4+ liter minivan and laugh at him...by running him in you car yo uleave him the option of saying "yeah but you have a swap and mods and stuff"

my advise...stock cars should race stock cars modded cars should race modded cars then you have two classes that both work

stock lets the manufacturer speak

modded lets the tuner speak

but tuners and manufacturers speak diffrent languages so just let it go...like the guy said...if it dosnt get you laid or paid...
