Wicked!!! BMW is known to have the best handling chassis (super touring and BTCC heritage), and stuffing an SR20DET engine in there is marrying the best of the best. It's like a Honda....with a Honda engine

you guys ain't see nothing until you've seen the SR20DET powered Civic! Yes, there was a swap done in Thailand (as so is this Bimmer) with a SR20DET into a Civic!

Somehow they converted the engine to work transversly(sp?) instead of longitduinally

thats nothing..there are supra engines pushing 1000hp in E36 bmw chassis in the states...a friend of mine in europe has a E36 M3 TWIN TURBO pushing more than 550 to the wheels...my friend randy sparre is pushing around 400 to the wheels in his s/c'd 88 325 with 98 M3 motor..it was always at speed o rama n ****...now he bought a gt2..bastard ****

SR20DET's come with AWD gear boxes, and also some FWD ones too, like a bluebirdSS and pulsarSS..im pretty sure those are some names, wicked motors, that civic must be very fast.
