Question Nokia 5100 phone

Ok big question question. I just got the Nokia 5100 from fido and when i turn on the phone there is fido writing on the main screen that says "FIDO" "www.fido.ca" is there anyway to get this erased?? I am pretty sure you have to hack into the phone but i dont know how and i tried searching for it on the net but no luck. any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

there are forums on Nokia's site that may help you figure it out... also there are prolly FAQs too that should cover it.

ok sorry

did u try OUR way yet

it works for the rogers phones not sure if it works for the fido phones.

give it a try anyways.

if after the *3001#12345# it doesn't go to a new menu that means it doesn't work.

Yep, if it pulls up a new menu it worked. Then follow the instructions. Else it doesn't work.

just type in *3001#12345# and then follow the instructions i gave out in the earlier post.

and that should do it. JUST DON"T FIDDLE WITH ANYTHING ELSE YOU MAY MESS UP YOUR PHONE i learned that the hard way took me a couple days to make it work again hahah.

just follow the steps and you will be fine.
