Thumbs down

I HAVE TO TELL YOU I WORK FOR A PHONE COMPANY AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT NO PHONE IS PERFECT. I KNOW THAT THE 8390 HAS BAD RECEPTION AND IT DROPS CALLS. SO DOES MY MOTOROLA V60. TO TELL THE TRUTH ANY PHONE WITH ROGERS THAT WORKS OFF GSM IS HAVING PROBLEMS.

ive had the mp3 telus phone for almost a year now and it has never cut off on me. even in wasaga, montreal, cayuga, etc.
the phone works perfectley. but before i got that phone i had bell, rogers, and fido and i returned all of them because they would always cut off and they had such crappy reception.
just my experiences i had to share

I have to agree...in my office building I can't use my V60, but my fiancee can use her Samsung without any difficulties...mind you she is also with Telus.

Has Telus improved?

I was with Clearnet. Loved it.

Telus gobbled it up. Overnight, literally, my service and reception was for ****. I went back to Rogers.

What do you peeps thing best bang for buck interms of phone, service, reception, etc.

Many thanks, again!

I really dont think I will go with ROGERS again.

My Brother has a Nokia 8390 and I cant count the amount of times that there was bad reception and we had to hang up.

As soon as my Contract is up I think I will be going with Telus.

i just got a 8390 and haven't had any problems "YET", but yeah appearantly most GSM phones from rogers aren't that good. but so far mine is running pretty good, haven't had any complaints yet. love it. way better than my old Ericsson T18d. But i guess to each their own.
