office environment - dress code...

a lot of my friends have to dress up for work.

at this moment, i'm wearing crosstrainers for shoes.. baggy blue jeans... and a short sleeve button up shirt that hasn't been tucked in.

I've gotten comments on the length of my goatee in the past... and also on the lack of length of hair on my head... they were all negative.. I didn't really do anything in regards to their suggestions on that. It's also been suggested I shave more often. haha

Anyone forced to dress nice?

I was working in the offices for one of the big banks before.. and noticed I was one of the best dressed employees in the systems engineering department.. so i busted out the baggy clothes and runners once again.

i could never wear a shirt and tie regularly.

I just don't understand.. .like a buddy of mine who is a teller.. makes 1/2 of what I make.. and he has to dress professional... just don't get it!

I work in a large company and I dress up nice, but not a suit and tie. The olg guys here do that, but most of the younger guys don't. I've come in on Fridays in a zip up hoodie, jeans, and timberland t-shirt and nobody says a thing. As long as your shirt is tucked in its all good.

I wear jeans and a polo shirt to work all the time, even though im in management its a pretty relaxed dress code. The Director of Operations at my work wears biker shirts all the time. But then the people in customer service have to dress professional all the time, and they make half of what I do. But I must remind work for a massive distibution center as a shipping supervisor and I couldnt see myself walking about the warehouse in dress pants.

Unless I have a client meeting, I'm in jeans and T-shirt with runners. I work in an accounting office as a consultant. Admin staff and reception have to be dressed up.

I wore shorts once to work and was asked to go home and change into jeans due to it being a safety hazard in the switch room...

I was like whatever I doubt it's a safety issue but I'll do that so I got to charge an hour and a half to cruise home and come back.... I was happy

I work at the home office for the largest Men's wear store in Canada. Every dept. dresses up minus our Dept. (IT).

I wear whatever.

i have to wear nice pants and a nice shirt but i can be golf, button up, whatever.. as long as i'm presentable. Doesn't even have to be tucked in... and I wear jeans like 90% of the time..

go office work!

I'd hate to wear a suit every day

My works dress code consists of shirt with a collar, dress pants and dress shoes...no tie needed, as long as its presentable
Fridays-Jeans, running shoes, t-shirt but with no logo
I don't mind dressing up that much cause i like to look good for all the hot ladies downtown j/k I hate it
