Did anyone catch the Celtics and Raps on Saturday? Raps lost be couple of points, it was a good game until used the fourth quarter to test lineups but thats pre-season ball. Intensity was very high for pre-season.
Garnett destroyed Bosh, made him look like a rookie. Aside from Bosh's struggles, they looked solid. It was nice to see most of the new guy contribute and fit in, Kapono and Delfino. It will be interesting to see what Mitchell does with the spot at small forward with Graham, Kapono, Delfino, Garbajosa, Moon all competing for it.

 

agreed.... but to Bosh's defense, Bosh was playing like it was pre-season while Garnet was playing like it was NBA finals...


I guess he wants to prove himself to his new team..
The celtics will do well this year, but probably won't get threw second round if they manage to get threw first round

 

Well, apparently Bosh tweaked his knee and won't be playing Wednesday against Italy, so that might be something to watch until reg season

 

Raptors should be good this season. Bosh's experience should be a good lead this year.

 

I'm waiting to see kapono prove his worth for the new contract, i think dixon needs to be given more of a chance. I think they still need other big as baragani is soft, and humpries isn't enough. Maybe bring back loren woods, LOL. but its going to be a interesting season to say the least, i except and hope the suns will come out the west and the east is up for grabs. Any predictions ?

 

kapono was overpaid, cant wait tho, i hope this bosh injury stuff isnt a nagging thing like plantar or anything... yay the only thread thats actually worth some thought is back !

 

Lost to Real Madrid today by 1 pt. Bargnani was kick *** while Bosh was out.
and....Calderon>Ford.

 

yah i too like more than Ford, but its still a tough call... if I was coach (and i should be) i would be hard to decide who to start every night

 

Calderon is good but Ford is clutch(remember last year all those millisecond shots)....with experience i think Calderon will become a better player

 

calderon has a year left on his contract, i have a feeling we'll hear a lot of trade rumours with calderon being delt for a small forward if kapono, graham or delfino don't impress mitchell

 

going to the preseason game vs. chicago friday... can't wait!

 

Jay P, where are you sitting? how much did u get the tickets for? I will most likely be going to the game as well.

raps are never sold out.. they cap public sale to ensure that when the corporate group rates go out, there are still tickets avail...

 

I don't think we want kobe or have the talent to get him in a trade...

 

i wouldnt want kobe here...and what we would have to give up for him, would not be worth it. i hope he stays in the west, him and his ball hogging ways...im going to say it now... RAPTORS EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS
