The official thread for Tuesday, September 11 2007

So who is celebrated this Tuesday?

You're not gonna see another Tuesday for at least 6 more days, so that's gotta mean something.

When I saw the title of the thread I thought this has something to do with the fact that today is 9/11, but I guess that's not what you had in mind. That's too bad because the 9/11 topic would be a much better topic of discussion.

If this thread was about 9/11 (2001) we would soon have our first locked thread....those topics never go well

I watched a show on the weekend called 9/11's toxic dust on A&E.. it was pretty interesting.. they're saying that everything burning and smoldering down there is causing everyone to get sick now that was down there doing cleanup and working in the area..

They said normally when you are exposed to these things, such as benzene burning and the other toxins that you usually see cancers showing up in 20-30 years but it was so toxic down there that they're seeing everything showing up at an excelerated rate of 3-5 years.. it's pretty sad that alot of these people that wanted to help out are getting cancer, respiratory problems and other diseases because of it..

Difficult to believe 9/11 was six years ago.

LOL best thread yet!

as much as 9/11 was .... ummmm .... I dunno .... unfortunate? **** the US and their international policy. anyone think of what the US did to Japan with the atomic bombs? how do you cry like a bitch when you get just a SMALLLLLLLL taste of your own medicine and still dare to call yourself a superpower. 9/11 was nothing in comparison to the devastation the US has caused all over the world in the past 60 years. From Japan, Vietnam, Korea, Somalia, Cuba, all over the middle east, Yugoslavia, etc. etc...

Not to say I don't have sympathy for those who lost their lives in the attack, yeah sucks for their families. But they're actually victims of their own government and decades of ****ed up international policy (to say the least)
