Oh to be young and stupid again

Over heard a couple guys talking at the gym, the one guy just started working full time at some place in a mall. He's going on about the cars he's been looking at and how much he can afford and the bmw or lexus he's going to get. All he's talking about is his monthly payment, no mention of insurance, gas, upkeep etc.
Ahhhh, I remember being that stupid, those were good times.

rofl, i'm young, not too sure about stupid, but not smart either, but its funny when people between the ages of 17-20 aways talk about the lexus gs400, porsche, mercedes they are going to get. i realize that i'll never make that much money so i settle for the economy cars that i can afford, and my baby is planned for 4-5 years from not (3000 GT is what i want.)

I did thought about some expensive cars, but nothing outrageous. However, you can't help stop looking for those high end cars and wonder what the price tag would be like, thinking if you can afford it or not. Even just buy the car, and park it forever.

its funny, the grass is always greener on the other side. When i was young, i spent so much time thinking about how cool it'll be when i am older, and trying to act older and whatnot. Now that i am older i cant stop thinking about what it was like to be younger. More specifically under the age of 2. Think about it, you wake up, get ******* in your face, run around a bit stopping briefly only to crap your pants, giggle for a minute and continue on with whatever unimportant thing you were doing.

Amen to that.. but realisticly, what is stopping anyone from doing this? I think some of the 13 year olds at the mall thrive on this sort of activity..

Im young, n Im not stupid but I wont say that Im the smartest man alive either lol.

Im sure we have all dreamed about getting a really nice sports car once we are at a stage in life where we can support ourselves, a family using a stable job.

It is wrong to say that all young kids think of getting a lexus right out of highschool n overlook the upkeep charges, but I know the majority does.

There is still a good percentage of young ppl who dont have loaded parents, lol Kids that work their but off working parttime jobs during school and fulltime jobs during summer (sum even doing full and p/t during summer). All this just to be able to support themselves.

Oh well, not to drag but you gotta be realistic...aim low and you will never be disappointed lol, Sad but true.

For the kids aiming for the lexus or the merc right...well...your dreams are about to be shattered unless your parents are willing to babysit you for another 20 years.

I remember when I was younger too, I was looking at lexus's and BMW's.

I could probably get one of those now, but I would have to probably dedicate all my money towards it. I'm not willing to do that.

I got the car I wanted and saved up for. Plus, I'd rather have a reliable Honda any day over a BMW, even though a BMW is probably nicer.

I'm probably going to be a Honda owner for life.

Here's my proof...lol.

...also I think i should add that I feel old even though i'm young. Sad to say I miss highschool... not as many responsibilities and what not, it was great times.
