I can't believe how gay some of these posts are, including my very onw since I am responding to this rubish.

Blah Blah arguing about an OS is stupid. Next thing you know we are going to be arguing about white bread vs brown bread.

extremetech's top 10 worst technologies for 2007

7. Mac OS X Leopard
The latest update of the Macintosh operating system, OS X 10.5 or Leopard, tripped over its own feet during launch. It sold well, it garnered good reviews, and then the wings fell off. First blogs, then tech sites, and finally some major news outlets started documenting problem after problem, security flaw after security flaw. Could it be true that Leopard has even more problems at launch than did Windows Vista?

8. Safari for Windows
What happened here? The venerable Mac browser gets a Windows release, and nobody cares? That's what happens when you drop a product with even more security holes than Internet Explorer on a market already happy with Firefox and Opera. Safari was apparently released for Windows for the sole purposes of iPhone software development. That's the only theory that makes sense, because the browser itself barely functions. Filled with bugs, lacking important features, and generally mediocre, Safari for Windows was a non-starter. Michael Muchmore gave us ten reasons to avoid that browser like the plague, and believe me, most of us have

an overwhelming number of reviews have Vista on the top of 'worst tech of 2007', as well Leopard at the top...

but good work finding the author who is trying to separate himself from the crowd...attention ****** aren't easy to find sometimes...

Really? I am using Firefox on the Mac and I don't see any difference between the way it runs on the Mac with the way it runs on my Windows computer I have at work. If anything on the PC it kills the resources, while on the Mac I can still have lots of applications open and the computer doesn't "feel" the difference.

I find it takes longer (then safari) to start up, and feels sluggish on the Mac...

I used to like Camino (a Mozilla browser, specifically designed for the Mac), but Safari 3 works pretty well, and has some nice features (being able to resize text boxes for example)

i just bought omniweb...$15. it is way better than safari, though i never thought i would buy a web browser. it has tabs like ie7 which i hated to give up when i switched to my mac...it is worth the cash though. lightening fast and loads in a second or two.

Safari has tabs, they just aren't turned on by default...
