Do you have a firewall and antivirus with updated definition files?

Visit http://grc.com for more info.

Do you have norton anti virus on you computer?
If you run a full scan on your hard drive.. you might have a virus/worm/trojan horse....

If you don't have it... get it..

Well, IMHO...

outlook isn't the root of the problems, it is the network/online security of the PC, a combination of Zonealarm & Antivirus will solve this problem...

The latest version of Zonealarm Pro has "Outbound Email Protection" built-in...which will allow you to control how many email could be sent at once...

Also, you should download a tool called "Process Viewer", which will let you view & kill any running process including the restricted one (Read-only -- Access Denied by the OS by default).
