Only thing I liked was the rear wing setup because that was hella creative other than that it was typical rice which I dont like but w/e. When I saw Jojo there I expected a mean *** motor from him but suprise it was nothing..but the owner looked like a dirty ricer.

as far as overhauling goes, im disappointed. someone compared overhauling to pimp my ride. negative. those shows are nothing alike. pimp my ride is a joke. overhauling was good because they were strictly old skool cars and they built them from a shell. they took muscle cars and other classics that were in need of a restoration and they did it. but now, they took a civic that some kid decided to slap a body kit and a bunch of cheese and a giant tach and is too cheap to paint it. i dont know why they sold out and gave into whats "in". foose himself didnt want to do it. he is usually excited before each car, when this rolled in, he asked for another car. there is enuff shows with sport compacts, why sell out?

and before you guys say **** about honda bashing and blah blah, i dont care if it was a civic or a cav, im talking the change between old skool to new sport compacts. it was a good show cause it was a fresh look at old cars, now its just like the rest of them.

Personaly I think most of the "classic" Muscle cars that have been redone on Overhaulin' have been ruined. They aren't restored to original condition, but turned into these Hot Rods. I'd rather see an old Mustang or Corvette that was a total POS restored to original condition like the cars you see on the Barrett-Jackson auctions. The Civic doesn't look any different then any other one you might see at D-K.

well ya they have all been turned into hot rods cause it wouldnt be much of a show if all they did was restore to stock, altho some would look better as stock. they did actually do a corvette that i believe was close to stock.

I really liked what they did with the car but what they did with the interior, it looked like ****. If your going to do it, do it right, interior and all......

Like common, a grey dash with carbon fibre vinyl ? WOW, thats ghey !

When compared to other overhaulin builds, I think the civic got "cheaped" out...if that makes any sense. This is mostly because they used his tranny and built up his motor. With the other builds, the owners get a brand new engine/tranny.

Worst part of the car: Purple tinted tailights.

stick to the V8's

hahah just kidding, well basically they didnt do much....
body work and rebuilt the GSR motor with the help of JO JO Callos
thats about it...

i was more impressed with the TUNER TRANSFORMATION on the Chevy Cobalt throwing a Turbo on it @ 14lbs pushing 240whp and 280ft-lbs

but whatever......

I think Pimp my Ride is better.

The big black guy jumping and yelling every show is worth the 30 minutes.

the paint on it wasn't the best choice, they did most of the interior and then left the stock grey wheel and did cf vynil, looked like garbage on the inside.
