This is nothing new, you buy live in it for a year and then sell it, because for the first year you don't have to pay property taxes.

I don't know where you've been buying but this couldnt be further from the truth if it tried. Sorry buddy but not paying property taxes for the first year wouldve been amazing....if it were true.

maybe if youre buying BRAND NEW, but I bought my first house and still had to pay through the roof for PT. I can see this being true if it were a house on spec, or a brand new build, but not a re-sale.

The wife and I actually went house shopping yesterday. Same area is we are in now, but a bigger place and built to our specifications. The builder is offering some free upgrades that would normally cost $$$$$$$ (9' ceilings, granite counter tops, fireplace, hardwood in the living room, luxury bathrooms). Now we just need to see how much money we can get for another mortgage.

Anyone wanna buy a pimp 2 year old townhome?
