anyone know of a good, paintball place near markham/scarborough

all i know is the closest one would be paintball city the one on 401, its like $30 there and you get the armour, gun and 100 ammo i think.

Ok, up untill about 3 weeks ago, I was the manager of Area 51 Paintball Park. I have played paintball from montreal to florida. I wouldn't recommend Splatters to anyone. Ever. It's busy because they market the heck out of it. That doesn't make it a good place to go. I'm not going to bad mouth them by repeating all the stories (nor do I have time to type the list, it would take me till the first thurs of april... 2006). I'm not going to recommend 51 either, just because it isn't busy, though their gear a facilities are far superior. I would definately go to Paintball City. They are one of the oldest in the business and they know their stuff. There is a new place out that way called Dragon Fire which I hear is pretty good, but I haven't been yet. There is also a dinky little place called "At the 50", which is supposed to be really cheap but again, haven't been there.

All in all, stick with Paintball City. They know their stuff, and take care of their gear. Sure it may cost a "bit" more, but you will have a better time.

ok, paintball city it is, gonna have to book it too that place is always packed too, hm anywhere closer, all i know are the paintballs down there and not up here.

hey bladex, i've played at both Sgt. Splatters and Paintball City, i was just there last wednesday night playing with my friends. splatters in my opinion is too dark, can't see jack all, but nevertheless still fun regardless. but paintball city last time i went was a year ago, and before they had the gravel on the ground and taht was pretty bad because you'd slip and slide and easily wipe out. but now they completely changed there style. you are no longer playing in building and what not.

paintball city now uses carpet and the carpet is soaked with paint and their setup is not a speedball setup with those baloon air bags as opsticles and what not. so if you like the speed ball feeling than by all means, and the best part of speed ball is that you can richochet off of the baloon bags and hit people.

but imo, piantball city sucks now, check there website out they've actually got a picture of there field, i haven't seen their gun owner's field where you can bring your own paint.
