For the people who post in the TCC Classifieds

I am sorry if this doesnt belong here, but I have a question for everyone who is selling something on the forums.
For the past couple days, I have been getting alot of people with 0 post pm'ing me for the stuff I have on sale.. Make that 100% of them have 0 post.
I know I have a low post count myself but I was a pervious member of the old tcc.
Does this happen to alot of people? And would you recommend me meeting up with these people ?

Thanks

Cause I am also a member of howardforums.
And I was reading on a story of when the seller met up with the buyer uptown, he banged him in, stole his wallet and money and took off.
But then again you can always meet up in a busy place.

Meet inside a Tim's daytime mang. Busy place for sure if you have any doubts.

ya always pick a place that will have a steady flow of traffic.
Last two times I've made deals, one has been in front of a McD's and the other in an Esso station

Are you a girl or a guy? your name is Alden, but your avatar is a younger girl.

No offence, but if you're a girl its probably not the best idea to be hustling stuff by yourself.

Doesn't everyone have a low post count now?? And yes, meet in a familiar place, daytime, busy. Take a friend too.

1. EVERYONE has a low post count here. when re-registering your post count started back at 0 on this new site.

2. why don't you just check their buyer/seller feedback on the old forum?

3. what everyone else said...use your common sense and intuition when making deals. busy place during the daytime.

Yes, do make deals during daylight hours and in busy places. Unlike the time I met up with ih8hndles @ midnight in a deserted lot at Sunoco. Lol.

I know the person that it happened to. He wasn't a tiny guy either.
I would suggest checking feedback, and looking at the users profile on the old site if you are a bit skeptical. In addition meet in an open place, at a decent time, and in the view of the public. If you are worried, meet inside a coffee shop. (as someone has already pointed out. You may want to change your avatar as well, if you worried.)

(Everyone now has 0 posts, as a result of starting fresh with the new version.)

Gas Stations, Grocery Store Parking Lots or Coffee Shops are all good alternatives.

Sometimes when you have to sell items for pick up b/c of larger, heavier items (rims, engines, etc), the only alternative is to have them show up at your door steps...
Any of you have strangers from the forum showing up at your house?

That's a smart idea, but not everybody will have that 1-2 hour window on Weds to scheduled.
